A thing of beauty is a joy forever
Its loveliness increases
It will never pass into nothingness
But still will keep a bower quiet for us
And a sleep full of sweet dreams and health and quiet breathing

End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back and all change to silver glass and then you see it.White shores and beyond. A far green country under a swift sunrise

Humanity has the stars in its future, and that future is too important to be lost under the burden of juvenile folly and ignorant superstition

Our loyalties are to the species and the planet. We speak for Earth. Our obligation to survive is owed not just to ourselves but also to that Cosmos ancient and vast from which we spring
C. Sagan
'O me!O life! of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless--of cities filled with the foolish;what good amid these,O me,O life?
Answer. That you are here that life exists, and identity;that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse.'

I was doing something really trivial, like checking email or burning a cd, and absentmindedly I just listened to various tracks on winamp and as I was doing that it hit me........as most things that really mean something hit you, not when you expect them, not when you try to find them, not when despair is just outside your door....

Not like 'Eureka!' but...more like....'Well thats odd.......'

But when you're in the middle of living, life decides to give you a hint, a small and insignificant hint, to keep you going.

In a world where cruelty and bitterness are 'virtues' found very commonly, very easily, even considered the 'mature choice' one must be really brave and also really self realized in his individuality to be able to stand up and declare his belief in goodness.

Goodness, as evil, is to me an entity, something you can understand and feel and touch. Like a warm blanket as opposed to the cold stinging steel of evil.

Evil does not win when those who sustain it act....it prevails when the good do nothing.

I have been in the presence of evil more times than I have been in the presence of good. And goodness is such a strong life force, such a humane and yet divine for me characteristic, it requires that much strength and suffering that in itself is a reason for the justification of existence in a way.

The Road Less Traveled

- Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler; long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth;
- Then took the other, as just as fair, and having perhaps the better claim, because it was grassy and wanted wear; though as for that, the passing there had worn them really about the same.
- And both that morning equally lay, in leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.
- I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence; two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.
